About RSS

What is an RSS or XML feed?

“RSS” stands for Really Simple Syndication, which has become a standard for publishing updates to web content—as the name implies, it’s simpler than visiting a website to find out what’s new. With RSS (also called XML feeds), you can subscribe to a feed that notifies you when articles, videos and other types of content are updated.

How do I read my RSS feeds?

You could download a news reader application (or aggregator), use one built into your web browser or use a web-based service. Subscribing to a feed is usually as simple as copying and pasting the URL.
